More threatening than Iran

Today’s missile launches by Iran are but a mere distraction to the real bombshells that were dropped by the Senate, regarding wiretapping and immunity.  And all of this in the name of national security!?  How about protecting our personal security?

Otherwise, why continue to believe in this delusion that “we the people” are in charge and that we come first, particularly when it comes to our right to privacy?  Why even call it a “right” when it’s being treated as a mere privelege that government employees can disregard with impunity?  Why do politicians insist on biting the hands that feed them?  Why are private “corporations” being given immunity for aiding and abetting crooked politicians?  Why have laws if government employees who, if held to account for their illegal acts would be punished severely, can simply change the laws to nullify their transgressions?  Why trumpet “equal protection under the law?”

This is a bill that would create a law, which violates our Constitution.  Why hasn’t this bill come before the people?  How is this even legal?

If the people who backed the bill are so sure that the government will not violate our 4th amendment rights, we’ll take their votes as signatures, including the President’s own, eventual signature as a legal contract with the American people.  All you have to do now is show us proof that you’re not spying on us all.  Go ahead – prove me wrong.
